Mostly seen in western battles. Fabrics commonly used were dark blue wool or natural linen for summer. Pattern includes jacket and trousers.

The original coat has a full lining of black sateen. The coat features 2 sets of 3 buttons in front and 2 at the side back waist. Two smaller covered buttons are sewn beneath the silk tape to each sleeve. Sleeves are lined.

Like the coat, the vest features 2 sets of 3 buttons in front. This vest is a partial double-breasted closure with slight "V" button formation and shawl collar. Sizes 36-44+
