56X-L Generous Harriet Ann, c. 1857-58 Original brown, gold, rust and peacock blue silk taffeta plaid dress in the TCS collection. Dated using CDV’s and museum originals. The bodice of this day dress is finished and hand-sewn to the cartridge-pleated skirt. Very wide 2-piece pagoda sleeve with decorative third piece that hides the seam (all are trimmed with silk fringe). Harriet has made several reproductions and has sold them all except the burgundy red with color photos.
