enlisted version. Pattern features shoulder boards, front pockets with
flaps, and wide waistband. This field service tunic was a new form of
uniform jacket; the Germans adopted this radical new look that was
similar to the British Army Battledress Blouse and the tailored "Ike"
jackets worn by American troops.
